Employee in the glazing shop (m/f/d)
To support our artisans, we are now looking for a skilled employee (m/f/d) for the production of the Nymphenburg Porcelain Manufactory.
The Glazing Room:
In the glazing room, the untreated porcelain is glazed. This means that the shiny coating (the glaze) is applied entirely by hand by dipping the porcelain into the glazing liquid. Almost all service items such as plates, cups, saucers, jugs and vases are glazed, as are the majority of the Nymphenburg figures.
Your area of responsibility includes:
- Preparation of the raw porcelain (e.g. removing dust from the pieces using compressed air)
Applying the stamp with the coat of arms of the manufactory
- Glazing – Swirling the porcelain pieces (by hand) through the liquid glaze
Then remove the glaze from the glazed porcelain on the base so that it cannot stick together during the firing process
- You also ensure and monitor the correct “mixture” of the glaze
After a while, you will be responsible for all tasks. An experienced employee will be at your side during the induction phase. We will accompany you on the way to learning these tasks properly and offer you the opportunity to take on an exciting and responsible role in one of the last ultra-clean factories in the world.
A committed, diverse team from a wide range of backgrounds awaits you. Basic knowledge of German (A2) is an advantage; if you do not already have this, we will be happy to support you in further training.
We look forward to receiving your application by email to: karriere@nymphenburg.com
