Birgit Ramsauer "Skulpturenbrüter" (2021)
"Die Skulpturenbrüter - Nisthöhlen im Skulpturenpark Gerisch" is a sound work by artist Birgit Ramsauer, which was created on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Gerisch Foundation (2021) as a permanent installation with 31 stations for the Foundation's own park. Each of these stations is defined by a sculpture from the master workshops of Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg, designed according to Johannes Itten's color wheel. In addition to experiencing the sculptures, the colorful works also serve as real nesting boxes for birds. We at Nymphenburg found the idea so charming that we are now offering the colorful nesting boxes as an edition together with the Herbert Gerisch Foundation under the title "Nymphen-Nister". For bird lovers, garden freaks or fans of contemporary art. You can buy the "Nymph Nisters" in our flagship store at the Schlossrondell for 1,200 euros each.
